So you watch your favorite squad and the big names: Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc. but who else is worth your time this season? My list of the most enjoyable teams to watch play ball this season.
Not much going on in week zero and its unfortunate that five of the seven evening games are stacked on top of each other in the evening. #13 Notre Dame and Navy will official open the season at 2:30 on NBC in Aviva Stadium in Dublin. We’ll get a first look at Sam Hartman at QB for the Irish after transferring over from Wake Forest. He could help piolet the Irish through a difficult schedule that includes USC, Clemson and…

-Originally published 8/14/22- It College Footbal Rankings time! Alabama12 returning starters-most since 2013 and they’ve made 8 or the last 9 playoffs. They’re bringing in the 2nd highest ranked recruiting class ever, ironically it’s the 2nd ranked class in 2022 behind the best recruiting calls in history heading to Texas A&M. They’re bringing in 3 5-stars and 21 4-stars. #5 in the transfer portal (2-5 stars, 3-4 stars). They were 6th in scoring, 7th in passing, 7th in total offensive yards per game last season. 150…
-Originally published 11/16/21- Under Further ReviewThe biggest upset of the weekend happened in Waco Baylor’s defense smothered Oklahoma 27-14 and forced Caleb Williams to the bench after a 10/19 146 yard, 2 Int day in favor of Spencer Rattler who only threw for 36 yards. 260 yds of offense is all the Sooners could managed coming out of the bye week. Ironically, Oklahoma State’s early season loss to Baylor now makes them the front runner to make the playoffs in…
-Originally published 11/12/21- Under Further Review Week 10A week that saw only a couple of upsets and sloppy close wins didn’t see much change in the playoff rankings. Georgia is still #1 after clamping down on Missouri 43-6 and #2 Alabama stayed put after escaping LSU 20-14. Oregon shook off Washington, Ohio State survived Nebraska, #6 Cincinnati stopped Tulsa on the goal line six times and Michigan smoked Indiana to move up to 3-6. Michigan State lost at Purdue 40-29…
-Originally published 11/4/21- Under Further Review Week 9The Playoff Rankings are out and quite shocking but we’ll get to that discussion. As it stands, #6 Michigan, #9 Iowa, #10 Ole Miss, #12 Kentucky, #17 Pittsburgh, #19 SMU, #20 Penn State, #21 San Diego State, and #22 Iowa State all fell last week. This has several repercussions to the playoff potential for these squads. Michigan State’s win over Michigan puts them in good position to stay in the playoff race even…
-Originally published 10/26/21- Under Further Review – Week 7#7 Penn State, #8 Oklahoma State, #14 Coastal Carolina, #18 NC State, and #25 Purdue went down in rather unexciting action. The biggest surprise was Penn State’s 20-18 defeat in a record 9OTs. The new OT rule went into effect in the 3rd OT with each team getting one play from the three yard line to make a 2-point conversion. Not to be confused with the previous rule of being forced to attempt…
